About Our Team
.Janelle Alba Garner
Founder and online business Manager
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m the face behind the brand, and the heart and soul behind the work. For just over a decade, I’ve honed my skills in administrative support. For four of those years, I’ve had the joy of channeling that expertise into helping C-suite executives thrive through this business. This little dream of mine has grown and grown, thanks to dedication, a little faith, and a whole lot of lattes.
My breadth of experience ranges from events coordinating to human resources, and I bring my multi-faceted approach to everything I do. I have been learning firsthand how hard it can be to run a business. The late night decisions, the juggling act of work and a personal life, and plenty of chaos along the way…it’s certainly not for the faint of heart.
Along the way, I’ve become more steadfast in my mission: helping other business owners find the freedom and joy in the journey. There’s the chance to make a difference, and the ability to show up in spaces that matter. I love helping entrepreneurs and executives like you focus on your most important work by handling the rest!
There’s meaningful work to be done. Let’s do it together.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Think of an OBM as a virtual “right-hand” at your business; an experienced professional who handles daily operations so that you can focus on what you do best. From managing projects to optimizing systems and workflow, an OBM is more than an assistant, because they bring knowledge and a wider breadth of skills. An online business manager helps free you from the operational tasks, so that you can concentrate on the big-picture strategies!
-
Good question! The primary difference between a virtual assistant and an OBM, comes down to the level of support that they provide you and your business. A virtual assistant (VA) needs a higher level of direction for tasks like scheduling and email management. An online business manager steps into more of a leadership role, and can oversee projects, manage systems, and coordinate members of your team to keep things running smoothly. Virtual assistants get items done, but OBM’s are managing more.
-
Nearly every business can experience benefits from hiring someone to help share the workload, but particularly ones experiencing a high level of growth. Businesses who are scaling upward very quickly usually love the ease of having systems streamlined. We also work closely with many high-level executives who hire us to manage their day-to-day tasks and free them up to have a true work-life balance.
-
You might realize your business is ready for an online business manager if you feel stretched thin trying to juggle all the things and feel it’s keeping you from your true focus. If your business is scaling but you’re stuck in the weeds, or if you have a team but spend too much time overseeing them, an OBM can step in to bring much-needed structure. They’re also invaluable if your processes feel messy or outdated, or if you’re ready to step out of the day-to-day and focus on being the visionary leader your business needs!
-
As your Online Business Manager, I bring a thoughtful mix of strategic expertise and hands-on support designed to meet the unique needs of your business. Clients often share how transformative our work together feels (and that makes me so proud!), bringing clarity, automation, and balance to their businesses while empowering them to fully step into their CEO roles. I’m passionate about helping you not only grow your business but also achieve the balance you truly deserve.
-
From managing projects and overseeing your team to optimizing systems and automating workflows, they help everything run smoothly. OBMs handle the day-to-day operations, track progress, and resolve any issues that come up. They also can work with your team members and provide helpful insights to guide your decisions. Whether it’s improving client experiences, managing communication, or working with you on strategic planning, an OBM is a trusted partner who ensures your business is always moving forward. Every business is different, so my specific tasks lists will change based on your needs.
-
A retainer is a set fee that you pay your OBM to receive consistent and dedicated support. The retainer offers flexibility and reliability without the need for a full-time hire, allowing us to become deeply familiar with your business and provide more personalized, efficient assistance. The benefit of a retainer is that it insures you have continuous support when you need it most. Your commitment will include a contract that will contain all the pertinent details about changing or ending your retainer fee. We value great communication and always want you to feel satisfied with our service.
